36 രാജ്യക്കാര്‍ക്കു കൂടി യുഎസില്‍ യാത്രാവിലക്ക് വന്നേക്കും
വാഷിങ്ടണ്‍: 36 രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കൂടി യാത്രാ നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്താന്‍ ട്രംപ് ഭരണകൂടം ആലോചിക്കുന്നതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. ഇത് നടപ്പിലാക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍, അമെരിക്കയിലേക്കു പൂര്‍ണമായോ ഭാഗികമായോ പ്രവേശന വിലക്കുകള്‍ നേരിടുന്ന പൗരന്മാരുടെ എണ്ണം ഇരട്ടിയിലധികമാകും.
കഴിഞ്ഞയാഴ്ച യുഎസ് സ്റേററ്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി മാര്‍ക്കോ റൂബിയോ ഒപ്പിട്ട നയതന്ത്ര മെമ്മോയിലാണ് ഈ നിര്‍ദേശമുള്ളത്. മെമ്മോയില്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ റിവ്യു ചെയ്യുന്ന കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിരവധി രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈജിപ്റ്റ്, എത്യോപ്യ, ജിബൂട്ടി, നൈജീരിയ എന്നിവയുള്‍പ്പെടെ 25 രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ആഫ്രിക്കയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ളവയാണ്. കരീബിയന്‍ രാജ്യങ്ങളായ ആന്‍റിഗ്വ, ബാര്‍ബ്യുഡ, ഡൊമിനിക്ക, സെന്‍റ് കിറ്റ്സ്, നെവിസ്, സെന്‍റ് ലൂസിയ എന്നിവയും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇതിനു പുറമെ ഭൂട്ടാന്‍, സിറിയ, ടോംഗ, വാനുവാട്ടു എന്നിവയെയും ട്രംപിന്റെ യാത്രാ വിലക്ക് പട്ടികയില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയേക്കും.
ഈ രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ 60 ദിവസത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ യുഎസ് നിശ്ചയിച്ച മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍ പാലിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍, ട്രംപിന്റെ എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഉത്തരവ് പ്രകാരം നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്‍ നേരിടേണ്ടി വരും. ഈ മാസം നാലിന് അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാന്‍, ഇറാന്‍, സൊമാലിയ എന്നിവയുള്‍പ്പെടെ 12 രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള പ്രവേശനം നിരോധിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് ട്രംപ് ഭരണകൂടം ഉത്തരവിറക്കിയിരുന്നു. |
